Some clipart was found at CKSinfo.com ; photos of the library were taken by William Helling. The state flag is from IN.gov, and the US Flag from the CIA World Factbook at CIA.gov. The library clipart logo and newsboy were modified from images found at clker.com. The map on the Montgomery County page is from Wikimedia Commons.
What is an "Open Source Integrated Library System"?
Open source is in contrast with proprietary. Instead of being controlled by a company, the code behind the system is free to any library. Typically, several libraries get together to provide a tech support network behind it. Anyone may modify the program for their own use as long as they note that they are doing so.
Integrated Library System refers to a computer system that handles all of the computerized aspects of running a library, including Cataloging and circulation management.
